How to maximise the opportunity of New Years Resolutions
Posted on January 20, 2016 by Nikki Lane
Its no secret that the number one New Years Resolution for most people is “lose weight” or “get fit and healthy”… so as a natural health practitioner are you maximising the opportunity for this potential new business or are you letting it pass you by?
January in Australia is a time of holidays. It’s summer, the kids are at home and it’s difficult to get back into the swing of things. Hence, many practitioners take this period away from their business to relax and rejuvenate.
HOWEVER… January is also the time when new clients are plentiful and looking for a practitioner to help them achieve their New Years goals for better health. To be honest, it’s too good an opportunity to miss out on.
The best way to do this is to plan in December and have your marketing messages already filtering out into the world before the New Year comes around and then more intensely after New Year, in the first two weeks of January. So, if you’ve missed out on this opportunity this year, make sure you diarise it for next year.
However, its still not too late to jump on the band wagon. Many people are just coming back from holidays and starting to get back into the rhythm of life. So have a look at your target market, think about the goals and aspirations they will have for the new year and then start to write your marketing material, facebook posts, blog posts etc around these topics to entice new clients to your door.
Explain to your target audience how your service can help them and how you can support them throughout the year to actually achieving their goals.
Explain to them the benefits of your service in terms of what they will get from it and how much better they will look and feel.
Getting your message out there to the right people at the right time is key. NOW is the time to be marketing to your target audience whilst they are seeking out new services. And remember, many practitioners are on holidays… so you will definitely be standing out from the crowd.
